The Human Resources Foundation (HRF) believes in providing sustaining funding support to programs and services at the Human Resources Center, Inc. (HRC) that empower the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities so that they may live their lives to the fullest potential. As a public charity supporting organization, the HRF provides public project grants, school scholarships, and long-term financial support to HRC’s programs and services that serve individuals throughout six counties in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Specific HRC programs that are funded by the HRF include the HRC Summer Camp Program in the Pocono Mountain School District, the HRC American Sign Language Training and Social Club Program in Honesdale, and Consumer Support Services in which HRF provides direct support to individuals in need during medical procedures, special excursions, or continuing education.
