Honesdale, PA – The Board of The John and Helen Villaume Foundation announced that the Greater Honesdale Partnership was selected to receive one of the Foundation’s 2021 community grant awards. Lisa Burns, Kim Fisch, Jill Hessling, and Brian Wilken, on behalf of the Greater Honesdale Partnership, were on hand to receive a check for $30,000.00 from Villaume Foundation board members Jon Villaume, Dr. Paula Bennett, Lewis J. Critelli, and Tracy Schwarz.
The Greater Honesdale Partnership is a non-profit organization comprised of businesses, organizations and individuals from the greater Honesdale area who work together to bring structure, growth and development to the community. The Villaume grant will be used in the “Downtown Honesdale Revitalization” Project. The John and Helen Villaume Foundation established by Honesdale natives, John and Helen Villaume, is dedicated to benefit charitable, religious, scientific, literary and educational programs within Wayne County. Since its inception, the Foundation has made awards totaling over $2,000,000.00 with Wayne Bank managing the account in the Wealth Management and Trust Services Division of Wayne Bank.
