Wayne Bank Presents Donation to the Bright Side Opportunities Center
Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce that Wayne Bank has supported The Bright Side Opportunities Center with a donation through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).
Willonda McCloud, President and CEO, and Dr. Gretchel Hathaway, Vice Chairperson of Bright Opportunities Center, accepted a check in the amount of $3,000 from Mr. Donnelly. With this donation, Wayne Bank helps the Bright Side Opportunities Center bring a wide range of services, programs, and resources to the community.
“At Wayne Bank, we value organizations that are committed to strengthening their communities,” stated Mr. Donnelly. “The Bright Side Opportunities Center is doing just that, and we’re proud to support their work.”
The Bright Side Opportunities Center offers youth development programs, STEM camps and leadership academies, health and wellness classes, senior services and food access, facility rentals for community use, and partnerships for holistic support. For over 25 years, the organization has used these resources to transform lives and establish meaningful connections within the southwest and Lancaster city community.
This gift was made possible because of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program offered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting through the Department of Community and Economic Development.
