Wayne Bank Supports The Bridge Academy and Community Center Through EITC Donation

Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce that Wayne Bank has supported The Bridge Academy and Community Center with a donation through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).

Jordan Crans, Executive Director, and Liz Taylor, Donor and Partner Relations Coordinator at The Bridge Academy and Community Center accepted a check in the amount of $4,500 from Jose Colon, Commercial Team Lender, and Doreen Broaddus, Cash Management Specialist at Wayne Bank. With this donation, Wayne Bank helps The Bridge Academy and Community Center provide students with innovative educational opportunities that foster academic achievement, career exploration, and personal growth.

“At Wayne Bank, we believe strong communities are built through education, support, and opportunity,” stated Mr. Donnelly. “The Bridge Academy and Community Center is making a meaningful difference in the lives of local youth and families, and we are proud to partner with them in advancing their mission.”

The Bridge Academy Community Center’s mission is to equip youth and families with the tools necessary for academic achievement, life skills, creative expression, spiritual growth, and leadership. Located in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, the Academy strives to build relationships with whole families, provide programs and opportunities free of charge, and share its belief in the power of faith. The Bridge Academy Community Center offers a variety of educational programs, from elementary to middle school, childcare services and programs for women, and Foundations and Futures, a program designed to build bridges through support, resource navigation, and relational mentorship.

This gift was made possible because of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program offered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting through the Department of Community and Economic Development.
