Wayne Bank Supports The Cooperage Project

Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce that Wayne Bank has made a donation in support of The Cooperage Project.

Lisa Champeau, chair of The Cooperage Project Board of Directors, and Arrah Fisher, Executive Director of The Cooperage Project, accepted a check in the amount of $2,500 from Mr. Donnelly. With this donation, Wayne Bank helps The Cooperage Project pave their pocket park, a project that has been in the works for some time. The project, which is a joint effort with AllOne Charities’ Collaborative Philanthropy Fund, will make the park ADA compliant, improving safety for many of the organization’s patrons.

“Wayne Bank is proud to support The Cooperage Project and its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of life in our community,” stated Mr. Donnelly. “Projects like the pocket park improvement not only create safer, more inclusive spaces, but also strengthen the connections that make our neighborhoods vibrant places to live and work.”

The Cooperage Project is committed to creating opportunities that bring communities together, offering a variety of events to ensure something of interest to everyone. Offerings emerge from the interplay of meeting ever-evolving community needs and envisioning a thriving local culture where everyone belongs.

“The Cooperage Project is especially grateful to Mr. Donnelly and Wayne Bank,” said Champeau, “and to all local businesses which support our nonprofit operation and our mission to provide events and programs that connect people and build community.”
