Wayne Bank Supports the Greater Pike Community Foundation

Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce that Wayne Bank has supported the Greater Pike Community Foundation (GPCF) with a donation through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).

Rick Little, Executive Director of GPCF, accepted a check in the amount of $8,000 from Mr. Donnelly. This contribution will be used for the Foundation’s Pre-K Scholarship program in the EITC.

“We believe investing in education is one of the most meaningful ways to strengthen our communities and support future generations,” stated Mr. Donnelly. “The Greater Pike Community Foundation continues to make a lasting impact through programs that help local students and families succeed, and Wayne Bank is proud to support their efforts.”

Wayne Bank’s donation helps support the GPCF’s variety of scholarship funds that assist local students in pursuing their dreams while encouraging the compassion, legacy, and belief in the next generation of Pike County’s leaders, artists, and changemakers.

This gift was made possible because of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program offered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting through the Department of Community and Economic Development.
