Wayne Bank Supports the United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania

Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce that Wayne Bank has supported the United Neighborhood Centers (UNC) of Northeastern Pennsylvania through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).

Terilynn Brechtel, Chief Operating Officer of the UNC, accepted a check in the amount of $2,000 from Christopher Moshinskie, Banking Officer and Community Office Manager at Wayne Bank. With this donation, Wayne Bank helps the organization offer educational programs and resources through its five programmatic departments: Community Services, Children and Teens, Community Education, Community Revitalization and Community Health and Aging, and Housing/Community Development Corporation.

“The UNC’s mission comes down to neighbors helping neighbors, and that’s something we believe in at Wayne Bank,” said Mr. Donnelly. “Programs like theirs make a real difference in the lives of families across our region, and we’re glad we can support the work they’re doing every day.”

The United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s mission is to work together with neighbors to provide services and create opportunities that empower individuals and build strong, interdependent communities. With help from supporters like Wayne Bank, the UNC can accomplish its vision of addressing emerging social needs and building strong, interdependent communities throughout the region.
