Jim Donnelly
President & CEO, Wayne Bank and Norwood Financial Corp.

Jim Donnelly serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank and its holding company, Norwood Financial Corp., a role he has held since May 2022. With over 30 years of experience in the banking industry, Mr. Donnelly has a deep background in leadership and commercial banking, having previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Bangor Savings Bank.

Under his leadership, Wayne Bank has achieved significant milestones, including rejoining the Russell 2000 Index® and being named one of the Top 25 Best Banks in the U.S. by Bank Director Magazine, as well as a Top 10 bank in the $2B–$5B asset category. American Banker also recognized Wayne Bank among the Top 200 Banks in the $2B–$10B range.

In 2024, Mr. Donnelly was appointed to a three-year term on the Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. In this role, he collaborates with fellow council members to offer insights into local economic and banking conditions, supporting the Federal Reserve’s mission of financial stability and growth.

In addition to his work at Wayne Bank, Mr. Donnelly is active in the industry and community. He serves on several internal bank committees including Leadership, Officers Loan, Asset Quality, ALCO, and 401(k). He is a member of the American Bankers Association’s Governmental Relations and Commercial Real Estate Committees and the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Government Relations Committee. He also contributes locally as a Campaign Committee Member for the United Way of Lackawanna, Wayne, and Pike Counties and serves on the Lehigh Valley Healthcare Advisory Board for Dickson City.

Mr. Donnelly earned his B.A. from the University of Maine at Presque Isle and an M.B.A. from Post University.
